Although I have not yet read one of the books, I have heard that Twilight is awesome. And for a fan of the series...a Twilight book design makes for the perfect cake. This 6" x 8" chocolate cake with chocolate filling was covered in vanilla buttercream and partially covered with fondant. 'Twilight" and "Arika" was piped in vanilla buttercream. The hands and apple were hand-painted fondant and everything was edible.
I was really happy with how the "pages" turned out. You almost want to reach out and lift a page.
Well, the birthday girl loved it. Part of her didn't want to cut it, but the part that really wanted chocolate cake won that battle.
