First birthdays can be so fun and this one was no different. This cake and smash cake combo were made for our godson, well my husband's godson, but I'm claiming him too! The #1 cake was 5" wide by 8.5" tall, chocolate with chocolate filling and vanilla buttercream icing... all soy. The smash cake was 5" and chocolate as well. All accents were made of fondant and all edible.
Vines and leaves draped the sides... monkey heaven!
Here's a close-up of our cheeky monkey. He's having a ball just hanging around. I just love how his tail wraps around the vine at the top.
